"Time is our dear friend."
I don't know who first said this but the Sealer at the Temple this morning said it, and I loved it. After being nervous just for a quiz coming up in a week, then for where Mitch and I will be living in 6 months, and then what my health will be like in 50+ years, sometimes I am afraid of time. But time is always constant, heals my heart, and always helps me adjust to change. So yes, time is certainly my dear friend.

I think that is so sweet. Sometimes I think of time as something that I hope will pass. I want Kevin to be done with medical school, I want to be past this hard stage. But I think that you are right. Time is our friend, and luckily for us, we know that we have a lot of it.
I saw a man wearing a shirt once that said, "Time is an invention." I thought that was a fascinating idea, and it's always been interesting to me how different cultures value time differently.
In this case, I'm totally with you. I know I stress about things way more than I need to in relation to their time in my life. Hopefully we'll get better at that.
